The Caisse des Dépôts has been developing its musical sponsorship for more than 30 years, with the specific aim of extending the broadcasting reach of classical and contemporary music in France.

The Ensemble Aedes is supported by the Ministry of Culture via the Bourgogne- Franche Comté and Hauts-de-France DRAC (Regional Cultural Department)


The Bourgogne Franche-Comté DRAC

The Bourgogne Franche-Comté DRAC (Regional Direction of Cultural Affairs) supports our projects from conception to performance through its support to professional music ensembles.


The Hauts-de-France DRAC

The Hauts-de-France DRAC provides financial support for the participative opera as part of the “School Choral Plan” project.


Centre National de la Musique

The CNM exists to promote artistic creation in all its forms and to extend the social and geographical reach of cultural projects.

The ensemble benefits from the support of Regional Councils of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Hauts-de-France, and the Departmental Councils of the Yonne and Oise

The Bourgogne-Franche-Comté DRAC supports the Ensemble Aedes, which has been based in this region since 2005.


Hauts-de-France Region

The Ensemble Aedes, in residence at the Théâtre Impérial in Compiègne, receives support from the Hauts-de-France Region as part of the “School Choral Plan” project.


The Yonne Departmental Council

The Yonne Departmental Council supports the implementation of the Auxerre 100% choir town projects in local schools.


The Oise Departmental Council

The Oise Departmental Council provides financial support for the participative opera as part of the “School Choral Plan” project.

It also receives support from the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, Fondation Orange, Mécénat Musical Société Générale and the performance rights organisation SPEDIDAM


Bettencourt Schueller Foundation

The Bettencourt Schueller Foundation's investment in choral singing reflects its commitment to the particular values related to this artistic form at its highest level.


The Orange Foundation

The Orange Foundation has supported the spread and democratisation of vocal music for the last 30 years.


Société Générale's music sponsorship programme

Classical music is, along with contemporary art, one of the two cornerstones of the Société Générale's music sponsorship programme.



The SPEDIDAM, founded in 1959, is the organisation in charge of the collection and distribution of performers' rights, supporting the broadcasting of live performance.

The Ensemble Aedes is artist-in-residence at the Cité de la Voix in Vézelay and the Fondation Singer-Polignac


Cité de la Voix - Vézelay

In residence at the Cité de la Voix since 2015, the Ensemble Aedes is now one its associated artists. Cité de la Voix is a national center for vocal arts.


Fondation Singer-Polignac

La Fondation Singer-Polignac accueille l'Ensemble Aedes pour ses répétitions et travail de création depuis 2008. C'est la plus ancienne résidence de l'ensemble.

The Ensemble Aedes won the Liliane Bettencourt Choral Singing Prize in 2009, and is a member of FEVIS (Specialised Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble Federation), PROFEDIM (union of independent musical producers, festivals, ensembles and distributors), Bureau Export, TENSO (the European network for professional chamber choirs) and ARVIVA



The FEVIS is the Federation of Vocal and Specialised Instrumental Ensembles. Established in 1999, it has 150 members today.



The Profedim is the Professional Union of Producers, Festivals, Ensembles and Independent Music Broadcasters.

Bureau Export's mission is to foster international development of the French music and variety shows industry.

The Ensemble Aedes is involved in developing an artistic role in healthcare establishments thanks to three partners.


Tournesol – Artistes à l'Hôpital

The Tournesol – Artistes à l'Hôpital Association has established a year-round artistic programme based around vocal music, and especially designed for people in hospitals.


Artistes à l'hôpital Foundation

The Artistes à l'hôpital Foundation, through its support of the Notes de Chœur project, helps Aedes to develops it artistic activities in healthcare settings.


Les Petits Chemins

Les Petits Chemins (Little Paths) is the local representative of Tournesol – Artistes à l'Hôpital in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
