In 2019, Vézelay’s Cité de la Voix and the Ensemble Aedes established an international choral conducting academy offering top-level experience to young choral conductors keen to perfect their technique.
The academy takes place every August, during the Rencontres musicales de Vézelay Festival. Young conductors emerging into the professional world come to hone their technique under Mathieu Romano’s teaching, with Aedes as a “training choir”.
